Each collector is thermally-welded and insert-molded. A direct, metered manifold delivers a balanced flow through the collector and prevents hot-spots. A tube-and-web design separates each individual round tube by a thin strip or “web”. This design allows for normal expansion and contraction while collecting more heat. It also minimizes the amount of heat lost from wind passing over the riser tubes.

Specially Designed Pipe Connectors - No Threaded Fittings!

New to market adapters previously unavailable for above ground, flex hose style swimming pools. These adapters use O-ring attachments for a secure, leak-free seal to PVC Pipe, Rubber Coupling Hoses, Valves & Flex Hose.

Our goal was to bring the standards used for high pressure inground pool systems to the above ground market. These adapters allow for flex hose to be connected to our premium SwimEasy system.

SwimEasy Lite's specialized adapters will connect either 1.25" or 1.5" flex hose directly to the SwimEasy solar panel (adapters to connect to 1.5" PVC pipe are also included with the roof mounted packages).

This process eliminates the inherent quality issues that plague cheaply manufactured products which typically see a lifespan of only 1-2 years. SwimEasy solar panels are an investment aiming to save you money, time, and the headache of replacing damaged panels year after year.

Each absorber plate of a SwimEasy solar collector is made from a propylene copolymer with synergistic antioxidants and UV screen including carbon black. When these special additives are coupled with a process of melt-blending the plastic, the thermal characteristics are altered, substantially increasing the material’s resistance to UV light. This process is vital in creating a solar panel capable of withstanding the sun's harsh conditions for years to come.

*For panels to last full life expectancy of 15-20 years, they should be installed on a sloped surface and plumbed in a manner that allows for automatic gravity drainage. Triple Threat comes with everything you need to allow for this functionality. Freeze damage must be avoided! This is accomplished by assuring no water is in the collectors when temperatures drop below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

NOT ALL PLASTIC IS CREATED EQUAL

Unmodified polypropylene has a high rate of degradation from UV exposure. Sunlight breaks down the plastic and weakens it, a serious problem for a solar collector as its very nature is to collect as much sunlight as possible. Each absorber plate of a SwimEasy solar collector is made from a propylene copolymer with synergistic antioxidants and UV screen including carbon black. These special additives, coupled with state-of-the art manufacturing techniques, substantially increase the material’s resistance to UV light. These are vital components toward creating a collector able to withstand the harsh conditions of a roof-top for years to come.

Products made from plastic typically start out as one-of-two types of resin blends:

Masterbatch: Natural (clear) resin pellets are mixed with a concentrate during the extrusion process. This concentrate would contain additives and fillers used to affect the end-product’s physical appearance or properties. Sometimes called a “salt-and-pepper blend,” this type of mix is less expensive for the manufacturer to use, but can often result in uneven distribution of key additives.

Precompounded: Compounding is a process of melt-blending plastics with other additives. This process alters the physical, thermal, or aesthetic characteristics of the plastic. Compounding starts with a base resin, which is blended with additives in an industrial mixer, producing a final resin ready for use in manufacturing. Additives are evenly distributed throughout the resin and subsequent end-products.

Warranty Information:

SwimEasy Lite solar collectors carry a 2-year limited / 10-year limited warranty. For the extended 10-year limited warranty protection to apply, the solar collectors must be installed on a solid surface, in a vertical orientation and plumbed in a manner that allows for automatic gravity drainage of the solar panels and piping.

Damage from freezing conditions is not covered by this warranty policy. Solar collectors that have been damaged by the effects of freezing weather, storage, or damaged by rodents and/or any other animal is not covered by warranty. It is the responsibility of the owner to assure the system is installed in a manner that allows for automatic gravity drainage of the panels & piping, drained of all water when temperatures are expected to drop below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, or connected to an automation system with freeze protection enabled.

PANEL CONNECTOR HOSES

Molded EPDM rubber hoses designed specifically for use with solar pool heater panels. Used to connect solar panels to one another, attach end caps and vacuum relief valves.

*Only hoses made specifically for pool solar applications should be used for connecting solar pool panels or any necessary hardware. Rubber coupling hoses not designed for this purpose may balloon and explode under the high operating pressure of a solar pool heating system.

DURABLE POLYESTER STRAPPING

Superior to Dacron; Polyester webbing strap is lightweight & durable.
Superior to Steel: Steel strapping can damage collectors over time. High strength polyester keeps panels secure without rubbing into the exterior.
Extruded polyester fibers are woven; will never fade or turn white like dyed fabric strap.
Third party testing proves this polyester-weave web strapping to be equal in strength and durability to coated stainless steel. Will hold strong without damaging the solar panels.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

The "Non-Mounted" package includes the base set of hardware needed to connect the solar panel(s) together, and make water connections to standard above ground flex hose (intended for panels that are going to be laid on the ground near your pool). This is a base kit with water connection components only and doesn't include mounting hardware to secure the panel to a mounting surface.

Refund Policy

All product ordered through Solar Pool Supply may be returned for a refund provided; (a) the item(s) are returned within 30 days of receipt of shipment; (b) the item(s) arrive back in a new and unused condition with all the original packaging. If the reason for return is not the result of an error by Solar Pool Supply, the buyer will be responsible for covering the shipping costs involved with the item’s return. Any item that is returned damaged, worn, or impaired in any way will not be accepted and the buyer will need to cover the costs of shipping to have the product returned to them. A 20% restocking fee is required for all returns and will be deducted from the refund. For all warranty claims and replacements, the customer is responsible for covering all shipping costs.

Tips to Protect your Purchase

Verify the condition of your product. Any product that arrives damaged or defective must be reported within 72 hours of delivery. Once this window has elapsed, the recipient acknowledges that the product has arrived free of damage or defect and accepts full responsibility for the condition of the product. Future concerns relating to the performance or function of the product must be addressed through a warranty claim subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty policy.

Use caution when walking near solar collectors.
These products are not designed to be walked or stepped on; such actions may damage the collector and/or riser tubes. Accidental damage during installation is not covered by warranty.

Use only new hardware.
Reusing old hardware has been shown to damage new solar collectors. For warranty coverage to apply, all solar pool heating panels “Collectors” must be installed with new hardware.

Use caution installing rubber couplings.
Damage may result from couplings being pushed too far onto the header manifold, tearing outside riser tubes. This occurs when clamps are left untightened and additional collectors are added. Each side of the coupling should be tightened to the manifold before attempting to insert the other side. Using new hardware WITH internal rubber stoppers virtually eliminates this problem, however caution should still be exercised to mitigate this problem completely.

Free shipping applies only to delivery addresses within the contiguous United States. For rates outside of this area, please give us a call to receive a shipping estimate. All orders are shipped via USPS, FedEx Home Delivery, FedEx Ground, or by FedEx Freight Priority. Orders exceeding $350 in value will be shipped with an indirect signature requirement for delivery.
